Section 1 - PRIORITY RESERVATION FEE
A non-refundable $100 Priority Reservation Fee is required to secure one of the first four puppy-selection positions for an unborn litter. This fee is optional and is not required to remain on the general waitlist.
The Priority Reservation Fee is separate from the puppy purchase price and is not applied toward the puppy’s final purchase balance.
If the selected litter does not produce a puppy matching the Buyer’s stated preferences, the Priority Reservation may be transferred one time to another planned litter. After that one transfer, the fee remains non-refundable and non-transferable.
Section 2 - PUPPY DEPOSIT
Once puppies are born and the Buyer selects a specific puppy, a puppy deposit is required to reserve that individual puppy. The puppy deposit may range from $250 up to 50% of the total puppy purchase price. The puppy deposit is applied toward the puppy’s purchase price.
2-1. Buyer acknowledges and agrees that all puppy deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. The Buyer will forfeit the deposit and any rights of the dog if:
(a) Buyer fails to complete the purchase of the dog for any reason, or
(b) Buyer fails to pay the remaining balance of the purchase price within three (3) days of the agreed pickup date unless prior arrangements have been made for payment at pickup.
In either case, the Breeder reserves the right to make the puppy available for sale to another party.
2-2. In the event that the puppy becomes unavailable due to illness, death, or any other circumstance while in the Breeders care, the Buyer's deposit will, at the Buyer's option, be either: (i) fully refunded, or (ii) transferred to another available puppy or a future litter.
Section 3 - FINAL PURCHASE BALANCE
The puppy’s remaining purchase balance is due in full no later than the date the puppy reaches eight (8) weeks of age, regardless of the scheduled pickup date.
If the remaining purchase balance is not paid in full by eight (8) weeks of age, JKKJ Farms reserves the right to cancel the reservation, retain applicable non-refundable deposits and fees, and relist the puppy.
Section 4 - BOARDING / HOLDING FEES
JKKJ Farms allows a pickup grace period through the puppy’s ninth (9th) week of age.
No boarding fee will be charged during this grace period.
If the Buyer anticipates that the puppy will remain with JKKJ Farms beyond nine (9) weeks of age, all anticipated boarding/holding fees must be paid in advance no later than the puppy’s eight (8) week birthday. Beginning the day after the puppy reaches nine (9) weeks of age, a boarding/holding fee of $25 per day will apply.
Boarding/holding fees are separate from the puppy purchase price and are non-refundable once the boarding period begins.
Any additional expenses incurred during an extended stay, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, veterinary care, medications, or health certificates, are the responsibility of the Buyer.
Section 5 - REFUNDS / TRANSFERS
The Priority Reservation Fee and puppy deposit are non-refundable except where specifically stated in this Agreement.
If the selected puppy becomes unavailable while in JKKJ Farms’ care due to death, serious illness, or another circumstance preventing placement, the Buyer may choose to have the puppy deposit either:
(a) refunded in full; or
(b) transferred to another available puppy or future litter.
This refund provision applies to the puppy deposit only and does not change the separate terms of the Priority Reservation Fee.
Section 6 - AGREEMENT TO TERMS
Please sign below if you are the person listed in this agreement. This agreement is considered executed once the deposit is paid to the Breeder and this contract is submitted. By signing this agreement, you agree to all the terms in this agreement. A copy of this contract will be sent to the email you entered earlier in this form. The website will store a copy of this agreement.
