Medications to Avoid in MDR1 Infected Dogs

My dog has MDR1 does that mean he is not a good dog?

NO, however you need to know this so you know what medications to avoid.

You also, need to know this if you plan on breeding them. You want to avoid breeding MDR1carriers and or infected MDR1 Aussies to others who are also carriers and or infected.

It is highly recommended to ONLY breed carries to clear panel Aussies and it is highly discouraged to breed ANY infected Aussies even if the other Aussie is clear panel!
