Here at JKKJ Farms, we know it’s an exciting time. You are bringing a new family member into your home and picking your breeder is going to be a big part of getting the perfect puppy. We carefully consider what questions our families might have and try to make the answers readily available for you. Please just me a call if you need anything at all. – Kim
What to Expect
What is the process to get a puppy?
We ask that you educate yourself first and foremost on the breed. Take time to look at our parents, their genetics, pedgree, current, and past litters. Please feel free to reach out to me via phone (409)224-5662 at anytime and fill out our puppy application. We are excited to earn your business and cannot wait to help you secure you fur baby.
How much do your puppies cost?
Our prices range from $2,000 to $4,000 based on pet/companion vs full breeding rights regardless of sex, coat color, and eye color. Please note: Eye color can change up until 6 months old so we ask that you fall in love with our puppies as a whole.
Do the puppies have a health guarantee?
Yes, we have a one year health guarantee with lifetime breeder/companion support.
Are the puppies vaccinated and wormed?
Yes, all of our puppies recieve age-appropriate vaccinations and routine worming on a schedule recommended by our veterinarian.
Do you do health testing?
Yes, we do extensive genetic health testing. This is how we decide on breeding pairs to produce the healthiest puppies possible.
Do you offer breeding rights?
Yes, Full Breeding Rights are available to approved breeders. Breeding rights are earned through commitment, proving the dog, responsible ownership, and continued development. Most puppies will leave on limited registration or under conditional terms while they mature and prove themselves.
Once requirements are met, we can then move forward with options such as:
- Full breeding rights buyout
- Puppy back agreements
- Release of co-ownership after the first breeding which must be approved by JKKJ Farms
We want to support and invest in breeders and programs that are passionate about:
- Temperament and Structure
- Health Testing
- Ethical Breeding practices
- Service & Therapy potential
- Confirmation
- Performance & Work events
- Bettering the breed overall
- Giving back to the community
Please note: This does not mean we will stop working with established, ethical breeders, who may not actively participate in confirmation or performance events. News flashed. We do not compete either, but we hope to in the near future as our program continues to evolve. There are some amazing breeders, producing exceptional dogs who focus is centered around temperament, structure, health, working ability, therapy/service potential, and preservation of the breed outside of the show ring and we are very Blessed work closely with them.
Our Goal is NOT to create a one-size-fits-all requirement list. We also do NOT want to control another breeder’s program hence the reason we offer options. Please see Flyer Above for further details.

Do you allow home visits?
Yes, we allow home visits once our puppies have received 2 sets of vaccines around 8wks old.
Will I get photo updates of my puppy?
Yes, once the contracts and deposit have been placed you will recieve weekly updates via the number you have provided us on your contract. These updates will be in the form of pictures, videos, and or links. You will also be added to our private Owner Facebook Page where your puppy has a photo album and you will have access to lots of educational resources, training tips etc.
Do you ever keep puppies past the pick up date?
Yes, we can hold your puppy past the pickup date if needed. Boarding fee is $25 dollars a day this fee does not include any vet expenses, additional vaccinations, or worming. It only covers room and board. Purchase price and boarding fees must be paid in full when the puppy turns 8 weeks old.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Zelle, and credit/debit payments via square. Please note there will be a small fee for credit/debit transactions.
Do you Offer Payment plans?
Yes, we offer payment plans for serious inquires if needed. Full payment can be divided into 2-4 payments with the final payment due on the day of pickup (your puppy will not be released until full payment is received). Please note: If you opt for a payment plan and decide you no longer want a puppy the funds are non-refundable.
What age do your puppies go home?
All pups will be ready for pickup at 8wks of age. (Toy Aussies maybe held until 10-12wks if they weigh <3lbs.)
Do you skip a tail dock and dew claw removal upon request?
Yes, but a deposit must be obtained prior to tails and dew claw removal. Please note docking takes place between 3-5 days old.
Do I get papers with my puppy if I am buying as a pet/companion only? What if I'm a breeder?
Yes, AKC/ASDR Registration paperwork will be available at pickup if you purchased Full/Breeding Rights.
If you purchased Pet/Companion your AKC/ASDR Registration paperwork will be completed by the breeder and mailed to you once proof of spay/neuter has been received between 12-24 months old.
All of our puppies must be registered with the prefix of “JKKJ Farms”
What fees can I expect to pay for delivery via Flight Nanny to my state?
•Health Certs to fly cost an est of $150-$250 this fee will be to us when Vet Appt is scheduled. Health Cert must be obtained w/in 7 days of flight after 7 days a new Health Cert must be obtained per the airlines.
•Crates for Aircargo rough est is $100-$300 depending on size which will include supplies (water/food bowl, etc) **Please note this is not required if using a flight nanny. They provide crate and supplies in their fees**

What will my puppy come with?
Items that come with your puppy may vary, but the following is pretty standard in our puppy packs:
– Fi Nano Microchip
– 30 days of free Trupanion Insurance Coverage
– Information of Nuvet Supplements
– Vaccination/Health Record
– Goodie bag which includes (Purina Pro Plan dog food, bone, toy, 1st collar, blanket, leash, travel bowl)
– Via the website, You will also receive a copy of Mom and Dad’s Genetic Health Records, information about the Aussie, information on supplies we use, and helpful training tips/links to educational materials, plus much more.
